Game Update 42 re-introduced Epic Weapons to Norrath. Each class has a different weapon, and each weapon has two versions. The Heroic version is rewarded by the initial Heroic quest(s). The Epic version is an upgrade, awarded when you complete a special raid quest. With the release of Sentinel's Fate players can quest to change their epic in to a spell with the special mythical effect and a weapon identical to their Epic, minus that effect.

If you have not finished your epic you may now speak to Kinloch Skry'mir at -36, 24, 215 function zclipGAttUdgN() ZeroClipboard.setMoviePath('//zam.zamimg.com/j/ZeroClipboard.swf'); var clip = new ZeroClipboard.Client(); clip.setText('/waypoint -36, 24, 215'); clip.addEventListener( 'complete', function(client) document.getElementById('gamelinkbuttonGAttUdgN').innerHTML='Copied'; ); clip.glue('gamelinkbuttonGAttUdgN'); addEvent(window, 'resize', function() clip.reposition(); ); addEvent(window, 'load', function() zclipGAttUdgN(); ); Copy in Tenebrous Tangle and receive a Shattered Weapon. Eq2 Wiki Epic 2.0

You can start this series as long as you have the fabled version of your epic. But if you have completed "Epic Repercussions" then you will not be rewarded the mythical weapon if you go back and complete your class specific Kunark mythical quest.

As with both the original game and the first expansion, a new epic quest line is included called the "Claymore" line. The start of this quest line can be completed solo in the outdoor areas, however, it will soon require a group and many segments require large investments of time "camping" the required NPCs to spawn and gain quest updates. The last parts of this quest must be completed within a raid (a group of 7+ players), the first being in an area known as "Ascent of the Awakened" in which you must have two groups (12 players). The final part takes place in Deathtoll, a zone intended for four groups (24 players), and requires an epic access quest in itself to enter. In the end players got to choose from an archetype specific reward (in some cases there are multiple choices) which at the current time was some of the (arguably) best items in the game.

Talk to your guild mates who have already completed the quest and/or reach out to those in the Crafting chat channel when you are nearing the end of the epic quest series. Asking in advance will speed up the time it takes to complete the last step in the series.

While many quests have a hard-number list of which materials you can bring, this is not really effective with the faction-gain lead-in for epic, because you can bring a mix of supplies based on your trade's subclass and you can mitigate the number of repeatable crafting writs you do by picking up the daily writs that require zero crafting supplies.

The epic weapon quest starts in Jarsath Wastes. Head to the Temple of the White Lady, in the Skyfire Moutains. There are a number of mobs here that see invis, so either plan to move carefully between them or to kill them on your way in. Somewhere inside the temple, usually amidst mobs, you will find a small ice dervish called Psychomalleable Ice. Right click on this to gain 2 new abilities -- Query Element and Dominate Element.

Go back to Vence Laden to start the Mythical Path to your epic. Begins with the quest Phrotis' Exertion: Reckless Strength. Warning: Be sure to have the Focus Item: Strength (looks like a neck item) active, for the matching quest, before killing any of the targets. You will not get an update otherwise. The charm stays active for 30 minutes once used, but make certain it is up when the kills occur or you will not get credit.

New script built into Ogre to help you track shinies. This takes a 3rd parameter to narrow down colors, very helpful for those unique epic shinies! Please note the default with no parameters is purple. Also if you want to swap what color you are looking for please end the script (ogre end trackshiny) and restart it with the new value. 2ff7e9595c
